I think some people here are confused. We don't need 60. We only need 51 to pass the dream act. The only reason we hear the # 60 so much nowadays is because Republicans can and most likely will filibuster if we fall short even by one vote.

If reid can make a deal with the Repubs not to filibuster regardless of the amount of votes, that would be even better.
