You hit it right on the head. I think that people here kind of live in a bubble with like minded individuals. They don't realize there is a whole element to this country they haven't really seen. No one knows what life is like for a bunch of rednecks in Montana. They probally only see latinos on the news on Border Wars or on Fox jumping over fences. I can't say I blame them for having that type of view: people all over the world have a view of the US which is different then it really is as well. And people from south of the border have a false view of life here too.
