Seriously, who gives a shit about the 10 year ban? At 18, with only a high school degree, your chances of getting a visa to come back, without being able to prove that you could support yourself, are very very small. It makes more sense to just stay here, get a degree and then leave. After 4-5 years in another country, with legal papers, the last thing on your mind would be coming back here to reconnect with people you'd mostly forget.

I would much rather be able to go back to the day I graduated college, and fucking leave with the 10 year ban. The only thing I regret is wasting the last several years in limbo, waiting for a day like today.
