I doubt that Obama has the political will to go extraordinary miles for us because giving out blanket TPS (temporary protected status) for every undocumented immigrants would cause HUGE backlash in the public.

Further, there is no guarantee that CIR would occur under the Obama's regime. The next president could easily reverse the TPS; everyone would be at point zero again.

Imagine, if all undocumented immigrants apply for TPS, the next president will possess a database of all undocumented immigrants including name/age/location etc. If no congressional action has taken place and the next president decides to reverse TPS, ICE will then have the intelligence to go after all immigrants in this country.

The above scenario is very similar to how the Nazi identified all Jews and coerced the Jews into concentration camp. It's scary to me when I think about that
