No bullshit. Obama is initiating a grassroots movement. I've said it 100 times along with so many other political strategist that this shit didn't pass not because it had some flawed policy elements but because of nativist hostility from extreme right that emboldened the racist fuck GOPs in the senate.

Once Americans realize this, and yes an average American will support this bill, there will be compromise. An average citizen does not even know what the Dream Act is. CIR won't likely pass but DA will. I am not sure if this has a shot early next year, but certainly within 3 years, enough publicity and discussion will have been had.

It will pass. No bullshit, no blind optimism. It will pass because grassroots movement is the way to go.
