I am from florida... about 4-5 months out of the year, but my permanent address is there.
I am also sick and tired of being in the shadows and not being able to be myself because of this predicament I find myself in. However, this community already provides what you are interested in doing for the online portion, I don't see what would be the point of creating another comparable place when one already exists other than just complicate matters by creating another place where people will be going to.
I have however, been playing with the idea of trying to meet with other people in person that have the same predicament, and have been in contact with members of the IYJL in Chicago, plan to attend one of their meetings that will take place not on this Saturday but the next one, as well as seeking to meet with with someone that has planned events for ICIRR who is not a dreamer, but an awesome advocate and retired ESL teacher that has been pushing for immigration reform for a while.
I am sure you might be able to find a comparable organization down in Florida (of course, we all know how complicated it may be, public transportation is not as thorough over there as it is over here in Chicago), but in that manner you might be able to help out more in an established organization, perhaps if you are good enough shape the direction the organization takes to greater increase the awareness of this threat over our heads.

It was actually a quote that was intended to be read allowed and inspire the masses, and the quote which that some credit for the creation of the United States of America. There is some very interesting history around that quote.
We should have some sort of printed newsletter, a lot of grassroots organizations created something like that in order to share their thoughts back in the days, those documents later became important samples of the time in history as well as being something tangible that could be held in the hand and remind people what was going on in case they forgot. I know there are some writers amongst the dreamer community, and this would be a great opportunity to use that ability, it just depends on really organizing and seeking someone willing to lend a hand and some materials for this cause. Of course, with the technology age, it may be as simple as a computer and internet access, and someone with an eye for organizing the articles in a visually pleasing manner, and people with printers and paper.
