what disappoints me is when people that are clearly involved in the pro-immigrant movement demonstrate that they don't really know what the DREAM Act is about.

Its not news, its just sad how people hold the lives of people and because they can't read a bill that takes less than 5 minutes to read follow whatever someone else says who is truly racists, bends and twists the truth to epic proportions like NumbersUSA or such groups which have been banned from various sources because their views are incredibly biased. NumbersUSA created an app for the iphone, it was banned due to its obvious biased views, yet I still see them being quoted by other news sources as sources of legitimate information.

Someone that is clearly for immigration reform and for the DREAM Act asked me if I had voted, I told her no, and she wondered why I did not vote, she knew I was a dreamer and undocumented, I don't think she understood that I could not vote and she works with several pro-immigration groups, it just strengthens my resolute that there I should work harder to make sure people truly understand the plights, specially of people that fight publicly for our cause so that they don't accidentally enforce something that is clearly not the case.

now Tea Partiers.... conservatives and a very large number of people will not even bother. It angers me when a politician comes up and complains about the bill being too long and complex to be proposed a week before being voted, I am not a lawyer but I was able to read it just fine, I was even able to read all the portions of CURRENT immigration laws it references.

sorry for the rant, but its just something I have observed, its not just Sarah Palin, there are a lot of misinformed people.
