I will be down with my GE this fall semester, but I will be applying to a couple of CSU's next month and hopefully attend Spring 2012. Does anyone know how much it cost to attend a CSU for a year? Also one thing that I have been wondering is, do they charge a specific amount for units? Or do you pay basically a fixed amount regardless of classes? For example, if I take 12 units will I pay the same for 14 units?

The only thing I have been able to find on the internet is a fixed amount, for example

0-7 units would be some $2000

and

7.5 and more units would be some $5000.

I am just a little confused. Any help would be appreciated
