check with the franchise rules and regulations. most of them have a form that u have to sign sort of declaring your status etc. I tried for subway in Texas....didn't have the guts to approach and invest...sort of my hope got hindered with this one form they have for u to sign like an affidavit declaring your status and ability to work etc. majority of business involving licenses (beer, etc) require status and some are co-joined with homeland security.
