I can already see the dissaster behind this. Given the circumstances we'd have to go thru having to go home and come back (time and money issue, as someone had pointed out), sometime after the work permit expire, it is very likely that people will not leave and instead choose to stay here...again....undocumented.

This is currently the problem for the overstayers to begin with, and they're just creating another wave of undocs in the future.....believe me. Bad idea!
