Tec de Monterrey is one of the best engineering/technology schools out there too And they are all dirt cheap compared to the US. In some of the state schools, all you have to do is make a donation that you can afford, and promise that when you make money later on you will give a bit back as an alumni.

UNAM barely makes the top 200 at best. Tec de Monterrey gets less recognition but it's much better than UNAM.
