To all people on this forum I need your help. This month I got the best but also arguably the worst news of my life. Earlier this month I was accepted at a top Australian university with an all encompassing scholarship that would cover tuition, room and board, books, travel,etc,etc. I mean EVERYTHING. I would also be included into a top australian engineering program that has a pipeline to some wicked engineering firms and airlines(I'm a budding aerospace engineer) and be given work-study options and summer housing. And to add it all off I have been awarded the visa to immigrate there within six months and the people at the university keep offering me additional perks to leave the states. But I need to respond by may first.

The only problem is I am conflicted. I am actually of Tokelauan/Tonagan ancestry(by some stupid loophole I couldn't get new zealand citizenship) so I have tons of family in Australia, the only problem is I need to respond by may first if I am to accept going to the program. I have family here, I have friends here, I have professors who I admire here. And although I hate my situation, I love America. The values of this nation flow through me, they live in me, our struggles, our lives, our fight lives in me as it lives in you. I know sometimes I have been negative(sorry if it pissed you guys off) but I love all of you guys and I believe in our movement. But if I leave then what? Am I a fool? Am I a dreamer? Am I simply just American?

The problem is what should I do? Everybody is telling me I would be a fool to give this up, but what if some relief happens? I couldn't arguably get this scholarship again, so this is a one shot deal. But if I do accept the scholarship I would need to leave the country by may 31st in order to attend orientation for the program.

What should I do? I need your help. Please give me some ideas on what you think I should do. I need to decide in three days.
