I'm sure if a Senator or Representative offered a bill in which only you could benefit, you wouldn't necessarily turn it down. You wouldn't love it; but you would definitely take the offer given to you. Because in the end of the day, SOMEONE is getting relief. Better than no one getting relief.

Well I agree with you in one sense that people are selfish and although we wouldnt feel right that it left people out, if it benefited only us, we would be fine with it. However that is still bullshit. 19-21 and younger isnt even 1% of the people who have been fighting for DA since it began. we were 19-21, 4-5 years ago. Remember this has been more than 1o years now since the movement started, hence this bill wouldnt benefit anyone. It would benefit people who dont even know what the DA is and probably still have no idea they are illegal, i.e. people fresh from the boat. Not to say they dont deserve to be helped, but it would defeat the purpose of a bill being passed if the people who are fighting for it dont get any benefit from it. If they make it 30 and younger, then everyone would. Im 23, Ive been following the DA since i was 17 but even then I was one of the youngest of the crowd. So explain to me how making the age cap 19 NOW helps anyone of us?
