long time no see, I hope everyone is doing well. I see a lot of new faces, and a few old ones. wow, it has been awhile and I have been busy, pretty much work and school, (graduating in a year!) lol but who cares. anyways. I would like some advice, if anyone is willing to, or has experience on buying a new home. I live in an area, where the housing market is great for buyers. mortgage rates are low. I looked into fixed mortgages and FHA loans. I am not sure with what I qualify for. Although, I do have a valid ITIN that I have used to file taxes. and this January is the 3rd year in a row, that I have filed taxes with the same employer (consistency I know is key/job security/steady income). I have a valid foreign passport. I am looking to put 5-7k down. Me and significant other would like to live in a home, once her apt lease is up in 11 months. If it pans out like I want it to, I would like to buy the house under both our names. combined we have about 8k in debt. and make low double digits, hourly.
