I went to see a lawyer on August 20 to prepare my applications to be sent off, He took all my information and evidence and told me he will take care of everything. On August 28 I called his office to find out if my applications has been sent off and his secretary told yes. On September 10 I called his office again to see if I could get a tracking number for my packet and I was told by him that it was a matter of office policy not to release that information, But I should get some information from USCIS by the end of the month. The only sense I have of what's going on with my packet is the money order I bought for $465 and it still hasn't been cashed. I decided to call USCIS this morning to see if I could get some information from them and the lady told me she sees nothing for me in the system, But if it was sent off on the August 28 I should have gotten something from them already.
