Wanting to go to med school, but if DREAM Act doesn't pass in 2 years, going to go teach biology.
You technically don't need a green card to get in to med school, but the competition becomes a statistical impossibility (only 20~30% of med schools accept foreign students, and each has about 2~3 spots, if that). Oh, and most wants the tuition up front, and you can't get a loan or scholarship.
In other words, impossible.
