Ok so I have a big update regarding my process!!

I mentioned before that my EAD had my wrong name on it. However, I still went to the SSA Office the same day I received the EAD in the mail.
I explained to the agent that helped me about the error on me EAD but the correct name on my DACA application.
She processed the application with my correct name while my EAD had the incorrect name.
On the receipt it said I should received my card in the mail within 4 weeks.
This was 11 days ago.


I went into a SSA Card Center Office today in Manhattan to see if I could get a print out of my SSN. My application was stuck in pending because the SSN Application Name was different from the name associated with my EAD.
In other words, my SSN Application was never going to be approved because the SSN Application had a different name than the name associated with my EAD.


The agent immediately deleted the old application and started a new one with my incorrect name (from EAD) on the SSN Application. The documents were immediately verified (no 10 day wait).
She told me to come back in 24 to 48 hours to get a print out of the number and when I receive the corrected EAD to go back to office and have them change the name associated with the SSN.
Also, on the receipt it says the card will arrive in the mail within 2 weeks but the agents told me it takes no longer than a week after the numbers are assigned to me.

So the point of this post (and contradicting what I said the other day), if you wait 10 days, your documents might be verified on the spot!
