I wouldn't encourage you to make that drive... I'm sure you'll be fine in an office waaaay closer to you. Glendale worked for my brother (it was a bit complicated given that he is a minor but not their fault). And we waited 7 business days from approval. 2 days after getting ead.

There was no mention of having to wait 10 days.
