When I was 18 I was making 32k, now I am 24 and I am making nowhere close to it due to e-verify. But the expirience I got at 18 was valuable. I worked in a professional environment and that is something to put on your resume.
Trust me young folks out there, don't settle for a job at best buy, or the GAP. Try and keep on trying to make your way into a professional organization were you can take useful knowledge with you for your professional careers.
Trust me you want to be the guy in your class that goes with work clothes and has an edge over everyone else.

This is exactly what I want to do! What brings me down a bit is I don't own a car but I guess that if I am hired at a bank or let's say an office then I will find myself using public transportation until I can purchase my own car. I was thinking of working someowhere really close to home like retail for a couple of months until I can purchase a car but idk if that's such a good idea. I have some volunteer experience and hope to be able to find a good place to work.
