You have not been granted Deferred Action yet. Being scheduled a Biometrics appointment doesn't mean that you are automatically approved if your record comes back clean. An adjudicator doesn't even begin looking at your case until after your Biometrics come back.

About traveling through an Immigration Checkpoint while your case is pending, I'm not sure, you have not been granted Deferred Action, so you do not have Legal Presence yet.
