My coward self has won and I've decided to just wait it out (if hopefully I get approved).
She does pay me wages but it is way below the minimum livable wage, She never set a clock in clock out time so it's all unclear, she does provide my boarding, I basically work for 13-15 hours a day (No overtime), She deducts SSN, medicare, and federal taxes off my salary (Since I am on a payroll with an iTIN, she told me that I'll be able to avail it when I get SSN) . She did made us sign a "release of liability" letter stating that if somebody is injured in a job (highly likely) and that if there's a complaint about the services given, that it will be our sole responsibility and not the management which I think is unfair, since we should be working as a team. I talked to her about it and threaten to take it to a lawyer which then prompt her to just forget about it. (I will scan the letter if anybody is interested).
There was once an employee who sued her for firing her (Illegal also) and won. The company at that time was at the brink of closure yet she managed to circumvent the law by filing bunkruptcy and transferring the "ownership" to her son. She even told me (chitchat) that she reported the illegal employee to the DHS yet the DHS didn't do anything since the employee wasn't doing anything wrong.
I know this might be more of a case of mismanagement but I still want to educate myself as to which avenues of action are available to me (considering that I am illegal).
I really appreciate all the responses.
