Even though some of you will be approved before the 6 month mark i recommend looking up your representatives just in case.
I contacted my representative 3 days ago and they've reached out to me all 3 days. They were genuinely willing and attempting to help but fortunately my application was approved today just before they reached out to USCIS about my case.
Once again, I would wait the entire 6 months but if your app does go past it don't hesitate to contact your representative. They were extremely helpful and they have more access to USCIS than the national hotline we're stuck calling.
