Why would you show boarder agents your EAD? EAD just shows you're authorized to work.. All you need at a boarder check point is your state ID because it says temp visitor exp on it till a certain date..

If you're part of the few states that your ID doesn't show that.. Just being your 821D letter.. There's no need to ever use your EAD except if asked for it at a job.
