If you age-out (as I have done), your mother can then petition for you as a unmarried adult daughter. Unfortunately you lose your place in line and have to wait all over again. There is a lawsuit about CSPA or aging-out going on to help us out by letting us retain our priority date. As of currently the case is heading to the Supreme court.
