For what it's worth, my own parents, well past retirement age (but not enough points for social security) could have easily qualified for SSI. In fact, they had some people telling them they were stupid for not applying for "free money", but they refused to do it and both are still working. My father is in his mid-70's even and close to social security. The difference is one is free money and one is earned. You have to have pride in life.

You know the state spends around $10000 a year per child that is in public school. So assuming you came here when you were in fifth grade, going into sixth. The government paid $70000 from 6th-12th. But you are saying that you have paid that many times over throughout your life here( let's say you claim to have paid 3 times that amount). Do you really believe that you have paid $210,000 is taxes to the government?
