My life has literally not stopped for a second since receiving deferred action. I got a car, got a nice paying job in an office doing administrative work & received my EMT ( Emergency Medical Technician) certification. I am now applying to nursing programs and hoping all goes well. I am so incredibly thankful for this. I could have never imagined that I would be where I am today. If you were to tell me that I would be able to drive legally in only a few months.. I wouldn't believe it for a second. I am now able to travel with my boyfriend and actually feel normal for once. I am so happy for everyone else in this forum because I know that their lives will be so different I just hope everyone makes the best out of these two years!
