It's not exactly an easy task considering I'd have to go back to the country I came from, get my passport from there, fly to Canada, and start the process. It takes months before work permit if given and a whole bunch of other stuff. Not to mention being banned from the U.S. for 10 years, which means I wouldn't be able to see my family until they adjust status, or I let the time pass.

But that's what I'm wondering...how do people get banned? My country is Mexico, but who would ask on the way over there? I'm not sure how it works.
