This is actually becoming a real issue. If you search for gay and immigration, you will see tons of relevant articles. This is for real guys -- we might need to have a civil war within the Left.

For our gay brothers and sisters... like us their clock is ticking as well. Some of them simply cannot afford to wait for DOMA's defeat. And even after DOMA's defeat, the road to legalization is not completely set in stone. So if they want to sink all of us in pursuit of that fraction of a chance - we'll have to accept it as human tendencies. Its the real world and everyone for themselves. That's cool. If I'm gay I'd fight for it too... for the reasons I stated.

But since I'm a selfish bastard and the damn republicans forced this civil war, I'll just have to play along and start writing letters to senator Leahy and key republican CIR supporters (like senator Rubio) to let them know that the majority of Dreamers who are straight are still waiting.
