I personally love this country, even with all its flaws. I choose to look at the bigger picture, the remarkable education I got here, the amazing friends I made and the countless memories I created. I don’t think that the people who chose to leave made a wrong decision. They have the entire world open for them now, except for the US. I hate when people think that there is a jungle outside the US. And besides, there might be a million different reasons why people choose to leave, I have one myself. I guess one just has to prioritize their life.

On another note, OP is just asking for everyone to share their stories, so please stop judging people based on the decisions they made.
