It disproves that you have good moral character, which has always been a requirement when receiving immigration benefits. It would all depend on your criminal history as to what happens from here on out. If you have a history a judge and DA will probably not be so lenient on on you and you subject yourself to the discretion of whoever handles your case.

Without trying to judge you, acts like these don't "simply happen". So, if you felt comfortable taking the bike, it means you've been comfortable with it before. Whether you have a criminal record or not and how it will effect you in the future, Idk. It'll all depend on how many times you've been caught before. I'm guessing more than once.

You had a new lease on life, kid. And this is how you chose to live it. You won't find any sympathy in these forums. My suggestion is go speak to a lawyer and get it knocked down to the lowest possible charge or dismissed altogether. Good luck.
