Now you're saying that they suffered and struggled through it and deserve better. Most people who don't qualify for the DREAM Act 5 yr path should be happy at any damn chance they get.
That is what Republicans and most ppl that support the bill are counting on. I get that. Many ppl on this forum feel the same way. I, to an extent feel that way.

We came into the country without permission yea, but we have lifted this country to greater hieghts than it could ever achieve without us. Cheap, reliable immigrant labor is the reason that America continues to prosper. On our backs and my family's back. Its been that way for 20 years now. But everyone turns a blind eye to that.

Instead it is undocumented worker this... or undocumented worker that... It was our family's God given right to pursue happiness, freedom. I mean why say it and not mean it? When ppl exercise their God given rights, not only do they spend 20yrs in the shadows but they get to spend another 13yrs proving to you that they are worthy of those rights.

I get it, our families risked their lives to come here and they should not be given special treatment for that. But what they did was special, an inspiration to all of us. They should be given special treatment. They earned it.

On the surface I guess you can argue the bill is fair. But honestly it is hypocritical that those that live in this country swear by their ideals but refuse to live by it. I find it distasteful and dishonest.
