So you are telling me that it is cool for them to accommodate themselves using arguments based on freedom and meritocracy but we better not touch those? Its crazy that the rules change once they are no longer the oppressed minority. All of a sudden, 'God given rights' turn to 'Government granted permission'. I am only making the arguments they have taught me to make. Based on what they profess to believe.
Fine, no other country in the world would be as accommodating of me as this country has but this country was meant to be different, it was meant to be a strict meritocracy. Man works, he/she is rewarded. This bill is a failure to live up to the lofty standards they like to believe this country was founded on.
I love this country not because of its name or it reputation but because of its ideals. And I think it is important to point out when it has failed, and not simply excuse by saying 'well, we came in illegally so its cool that they treat us like shit. In fact we sort of kind of deserve it'. If when they were getting treated like shit, the bent over and took it, I would agree. But they fought like heck to get some rights they thought they have earned and now just 200yrs later they don't recognize that they are being the oppressors. Economically, socially illegal immigration has earned the right just like they did. That is a valid argument in my view because every person in this country owes their freedom to that same argument.

Your argument here is red herring and is NOT helping your cause at all and you know why ? These black people and women had one thing we don't have. They were born here and their rights were rightfully theirs. And the civil war wasn't about setting the slaves free it, that was just a by product, they just didn't want the south to use slaves and become stronger enough to leave the union. That just shows you don't know you're history. As I was saying those women and black people where denied rights they were entitled too because they were born here. So your point here is moot bexauw we weren't born here. This just proves you re a troll or a self entitled dreamer. It doesn't matter really. Lots of you are here and are ignored. And for a good reason. A self entitled person will always demand more. Even when it's not rightfully in their right. You moved your augment from, I should be given citizenship because I paid my taxes to , I should be given citizenship because damn it blacks and women where given theirs plus white people stole this land from the begining. This is sad and amussing. I love nothing more than watching someone backpedaling their point around. It's makes it really easy to destroy. Everyone can see what you're doing and is not making your point any better you're the type of people who thinks we are the blacks of the 60s and we should demand our rights as they did.
