The "Parole in Place" policy for immediate relatives of military members is not new, I believe it has been around since 2010. I wonder what makes it different this time. Perhaps they're making the approval near-automatic for military relatives; in the past the relatives had to plead convincingly of their hardship, and approval was on case-by-case basis.
