Hey guys, I know this isn't a legal forum but I thought I'd ask just in case anyone else has had to deal with something like this. So my employer is asking for me to provide them with some form of document saying why my social security number changed (obviously I was working with a fake one before I was approved and got my number I have now) I can't really tell them that cause I'm afraid it'll cost me my job, the HR people are really being persistent so I'm just wondering what I can do? Can they really ask me for that? I'm gonna talk to a lawyer but they need it in a couple of days so I thought I'd ask here.
