So I tried looking up threads that related to this, but didn't really get a clear answer. My friends here say undocumented people have been on cruises with them, and that they've been fine, but I'm naturally reluctant and scared to go. It's a cruise to the Bahamas, and only one day (I know the amount of time doesn't matter, but, just saying).

My friends don't have passports (they are American), and they say all I'll need is a state ID and they looked into it, and no passports will be checked.

Please don't answer negatively or go off topic. I need a serious, clear response (meaning a reason behind the no or the yes).
