While it's horrible to lose 2 little girls, a few legitimate questions:

-Where were the parents, and where was this leaf pile? Middle of the road?
-What time did this occur?
-Why aren't the parents facing criminal charges if it is shown that it was night time, that the leaf pile was in the middle of the road, and negligence is established?

If anything, the criminal conviction can show that DACA has a way of documenting and keeping track of who is here and who isn't. This article leaves out a lot of details, which isn't good in court.

Also, if these little girls were playing in the leaf pile consistently, they would've gotten run over eventually by anyone who could've been driving.

-Why didn't Cisneros stop? Maybe because our broken immigration system doesn't give an incentive for immigrants who are on the fence of getting deported of coming forward. If a citizen ran them over, I'd go as far as to say they would come forward because they don't leave under the fear of being "sent back".

Again, horrible story and I'm not trolling for the perp here, I just feel perspective is important and not jumping to conclusions is what makes a person mindful of the entire situation.
