The OP was not asking whether U-Visas exist, but whether he could feasibly obtain one given his case. Although I didn't spell it out in my earlier post -- I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to intelligence--the implication is that U-Visas are so rare that they are reserved for people who have undergone traumatic experiences such as being shot, raped, kidnapped and the like. A common armed robbery does not fit the bill unless he was seriously injured.

If you had taken a moment to reflect on my answer rather than jump on my throat maybe you could have figured it out.
