I have about 5000 dollars in debt from my university. it's two debts, one of 3500 and another one of 2500. It's both from a decent university I went to. Both of those are in collection agency and they've called me numerous times but I always avoided the call because I can't pay it off since I don't have work permit yet. So I'm assuming I have a bad credit under my name and address...

Will this information (bad credit) transfer over to my new SSN if I ever get one?
Sorry to say but once you have any payment overdue, especially loans, that go to collections, youre score is likely already shot. If you were to check your score right now on creditkarma (its free), you will likely have something very low. Almost to the point where you might not even qualify for any further loans, whether it be personal, auto, home, student etc...

what do you mean by new ssn? you always have the same ssn, unless one is fake or there is fraud involved. But you will likely have this follow you around unless youre using a fake social in which case the penalties are far worse if caught.
