I live in texas and have been trying to buy a new car. I had a Us Citizen co-signer apply for a loan with me. First the loan company had to verify my SSN for some reason, and then they asked for the EAD. After that they gave me a call back and denied me for not being a "resident". What are my options from here? I know many of you have bought and financed cars of your own. It's a $20k loan, and I would have been approved if not for this problem. I thought all you needed was a good job, good credit, ID, and SSN.
