3 years ago plan Z was going back home (I had no options left), but then magically DACA happened... and so did my parent's PR.

so now plan B is waiting for my priority date. I got a long wait but it's better than nothing.

Marrying a US citizen just to get a status was never an option for me for many reasons, mostly out of conviction and pride. I think I would have saved myself a lot of grief doing that a very very long time ago but... That's not me. However, I don't recommend it. If you can't take it, give in. I just couldn't.
