Case approved - 8/25/2015
EAD - Mailed 8/28.2015
In Receipt of the EAD - 9/1/2015

Total days until EAD in my hands: 209 days (2/4/2015 - 9/1/2015)

It appears those approvals coming from the Texas Service Center aren't experiencing delays for EAD to be ordered into production. (At least we have that going for us...)

Something else I've noticed is that couple weeks ago I had my Senator's office raise the issue to TSC that the USCIS website shows the center is still processing these within 3.5 months, however, my case had been pending well beyond that. The website processing times are now showing what date they are currently at and no longer showing 3.5 months. Would be smart to monitor that and apply ahead of time accordingly next renewal. I got lucky my employer was able to keep me under leave of absence and I just returned back to work. (maybe an option to some of you with your HR?) I'm fortunate I can go back to my career but have not lost sight that this is just a temporary fix. Be aware of all the policy proposals and rhetoric coming from these anti-immigrant proponents and be active in your community. We need to make our voices heard... Good luck everyone!
They give you any reason as to why your security check took so long?
