Hello All- Oh man, yet another post on the AP letter . My apologies if this question has been asked too many times before.
I am starting the process to apply for an AP to visit my ailing grandfather in Mexico and i would like to ask those of you who are taking the time to read my post and have been approved for AP a few questions....
1. So, this might be too much to ask but would any of you mind sharing with me the letter that your family member sent you? I asked another member of the forum whom offered someone else a copy of his letter but i still have not heard back from him. I would like to give my sister(who is in mexico and will get all the paperwork i need together) an idea as to what this letter needs to say and how it needs to be composed.
2. Does it have to be notarized? Yes, i am aware that the Doctorś letter has to be in English but does it have to be notarized after it has been translated into English? also, if i get a letter in English from the get go from Mexico, would that be odd or suspicious to INS? my aunt is a nurse in mexico and she would be the one getting the letter since she works for the hospital in which grandpa gets all his care.
3. Have any of you asked for 3 weeks and were approved for all 3 weeks?
Thank you very much for reading and i sincerely appreciate any help/feedback that i can get from you all!
Carlos
