I've found another option we might have not known before.

A mandamus petition seeks an order of the Federal Court Judge to compel USCIS to complete the delayed application within a specified time period. The Judge cannot decide the application himself. A mandamus petition should not be attempted without competent legal representation. Furthermore, an applicant should not initiate a mandamus action against USCIS without first attempting to resolve the delay through status inquiries and INFOPASS appointments.
