The the provisional waiver has been approved, you might want to look into it, given you can prove hardship and can qualify for an immigrant visa. It will also be super interesting to see USCIS come up with a concrete definition of hardship, hopefully a lot of us can get a GC through this.
Good to know I was unaware, however, I think getting a company to sponsor someone might be a challenge. Nonetheless, glad to know it can be a possible option.
