I have a similar timeline - submitted my renewal at the beginning of June, haven't receive biometrics appointment yet, and exp date is on 10/09. I remember I did had a late biometrics appointment last renewal approx. 5 weeks before my last exp date and was approved 12 days after the biometrics notice so really hope that would be the case again although I am getting more and more worried.

It seems like everyone who received timely biometrics appt notice also received an online account notice with the access code in the mail. I never received the online account notice and had to call for an access code. All the responses to my service requests have been regarding the approval of my case when all I wanted them to do at the moment is to schedule my bio appt. I even got a response that talks about the Feb-May application delays even though I submitted mine in June.

My brother submitted his 2 weeks after mine, and he also have not received a biometrics appointment yet either and no online account notice.

I told our HR person today and the company's VP about the situation, we'll evaluate my situation as it gets closer, hopefully it gets resolved quickly, otherwise, I might have to take a leave or be terminated.

I remember last time I renewed, while I don't think there were delay issues, I also got my bio appointment late, went to it, and got approved fairly quickly after that. (Mind you, it's hard to remember all the details of what happened 2 years ago for me).

Last renewal, I feel like some people said they got approved without a bio appointment, I don't know if it's true or if it's happening this time around.

I've been going through this USCIS shit since 2001, it seriously never gets any easier... So nerve wrecking. I just really hope things change in that institution once a new president (hopefully not Trump) gets elected and makes it a point to speed up processes. So ridiculous how they don't realize how things like these affect people's lives.
