Hello everyone. I was talking to a few immigration lawyers that are very involved with what is going on. Primarily with teachers at universities. What I was told by numerous people who are working with local officials as well as the federal government is that anyone who filed between February 2nd and May 15th are affected by a system error that they have been trying to fix. There is nothing that they can do about that but all the sources stated that by the second week of September they should have everything fixed and if your case does not expire by then you should be fine and that you will receive the approval. USCIS told them that they expect to have everything solved by the second week of September and they have had cases that are now being approved that are starting to come in that have been filed during those dates.
