This is the email I got from Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC):
Quote:
Dear xxx,
Thanks for reaching out to CLINIC’s Advocacy department. We are very sorry to hear of your DACA renewal delay. We will add your case to the list of example cases impacted by the delays that we are sharing with USCIS.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with any additional assistance on your case. We encourage you to call USCIS to request updated case status and to escalate since your case is pending 105+ days. The telephone number is 1-800-375-5283. We encourage you to take notes during your call, including the name of the officer you speak with and the case reference number they will provide to you.
When you call, use the following prompts for pending DACA cases:
Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish;
Then Press 2 for latest information on pending case; Then Press 1 since you have your receipt number; Then after getting the status of your case you can choose 3 to talk to a Customer Service Representative.
For further advocacy assistance, we strongly recommend that you contact the CIS Ombudsman’s office and emphasize the urgency of your case since you have an EAD that will expire in a few weeks. Attached you will find information about how to do that.
We hope that your case is approved very soon! Please know that we will continue in our advocacy on this issue until processing times are fully restored.
Warm regards,
Jill
