Not gonna go into all the details as there's a lot of shit I had to do, but got approved as of this morning. The local USCIS officer which I was able to get in contact through a congressman's office (and only through them, as in they relayed my messages to him), had a direct line to Nebraska center and he also had the ability to schedule my bio himself locally, contrary to what you may have been told.

04/18/16 receipt date
08/18/16 'forced' bio metrics scheduled by local officer
09/04/16 expiration
09/07/16 approval

I had weekly reminders from HR about 're-verifying' for a while, but at work today they haven't caught on lol... for a major company I think they're not used to EAD's and have too many people to manage.

I have the DACA approval letter which the USCIS officer emailed to me since it's not on ELIS, really hoping the EAD approval notice will show up on there next few days so I can update HR and play dumb. The EAD date should be 2 years from today's date, but need to back it up with supporting docs for the I-9.

I'll keep an eye on everyone and my advice to you is 1. be persistent 2. try all avenues 3. be persistent some more 4. start sooner than later if you haven't gone through all the steps.
