Which "office" is she referring to? The only office that matters is the service center to which you were assigned, which I assume is Nebraska. I'm not sure how accurate that T2's assessment is, but anecdotally, we've seen replies from USCIS reps stating that they've either requested biometrics or that they've forwarded the inquiry to Nebraska only for them to later say that it's still processing. I've received wildly inconsistent responses, most recently an email stating that my biometrics had not been scheduled when it had in fact been scheduled. I can only speak for myself, but I sent in many overlapping inquiries before USCIS finally scheduled my biometrics.

I'm really pulling for you, man. I hope you get scheduled soon!
