The status on ELIS reverted back to "in process" last week and when i called USCIS one tier 2 said the card went in to production 9/11 but there was a "glitch" and had to be stopped...
another tier 2 didnt mentioned this and just created an SR and said i should wait 2 weeks.....
and my 30 day leave of absence is over in two weeks.

My ELIS did revert back to "in process", but then it went back to "We have produced your green card, and mailed to your address" on 9/13/16. I called USCIS on thursday to get a tracking number but they said one wasn't available, so I called today and they gave it to me.
My bet is you have to wait until ELIS says "We have produced your green card, and mailed to your address", because everyone I talked to says it did that too.
first it went to approved and then back to "in progress" and finally to "we have mailed your green card...etc."
you are in step 2 out of 3, and then when you get "we have produced your green card" you will have to wait an average of 8-20 days for your actual EAD to come in the mail.
